Sundas Foundation

About Sundas Foundation

Providing free blood transfusions and treatment to children with Thalassemia, Hemophilia and other blood disorders since 1998.

Our Story

Born from compassion in 1998

Sundas Foundation was established in 1998 by Munnoo Bhai (Late) — celebrated journalist, poet and playwright — who could not accept that children in Pakistan were dying simply because their families could not afford blood transfusions.

What began as a single center in Lahore has grown into a nationwide network of 12 centers providing free, safe, fully screened blood transfusions 24 hours a day. Under the leadership of Founder & President Muhammad Yaseen Khan (Sitara-i-Imtiaz), the foundation today serves thousands of patients with Thalassemia, Hemophilia and other blood disorders — never charging a single rupee for care.
